File It 4.90 RELEASED:

This update delivers enhanced security and support for SpringCM’s European data centers (EU11 and EU21). Accounts that do not upgrade are unaffected by this update.

The following steps must be completed for both Salesforce Classic and Salesforce Lightning versions if you install or upgrade to the File It 4.90 package. You need to access your Salesforce organization as a Sys Admin for the SpringCM_FileIt Connected App when configuring this update. Steps continued.

First, complete the following steps in Salesforce to configure the permitted users setting.

  1. Log in to Salesforce with your Sys Admin credentials.

  2. Navigate to Setup.

  3. Click the Manage Apps link.

  4. Select the Connected Apps link.

  5. Choose the SpringCM_FIleIt connected app.

  6. Set the Permitted Users Flag under “OAuth Policies” to Admin approved users are pre-authorized.

  7. Save your changes to the connected app.

Next, complete the following steps in Salesforce to add SpringCM users.

  1. Navigate to Setup.

  2. Click the Manage Apps link.

  3. Click the Connected Apps link.

  4. Select the SpringCM_FileIt connected app.

  5. Click Manage Profiles.

  6. Add profiles for the SpringCM_FileIt Connected App for any users who utilize SpringCM File It.

  7. Save your changes.
